Aphrodite And Her Heroes
Goddess of love will charm her rivals to death with aid from her chosen heroes.
Today in Mortal Arena, the beautiful being in the entire world will choose her favourites. We are talking about Aphrodite- Olympian goddess of love, beauty, sexual pleasure and fertility.
She is often portrayed as insatiable and unattainable. Her birth was a magical one as she was born near the coast of Cythera out of the foam Uranus’ castrated genitals created when they fell into the sea.
Believe it or not, she had affairs with all Olympians except Zeus and Hades, due to her charming disposition. The most famous one was with Ares- the god of war. She also had famous romances with mortals namely Anchises and Adonis.
She will deceive warriors with her charm in Mortal Arena battles. For this cause, she has chosen the most attractive Greek heroes of all time. They are- Aeneas, Helen, Danae and Icarus.

Aeneas (Legendary Hero)
Aeneas was goddess Aphrodite’s son with prince Anchises. Later in life, he became the main lieutenant of Hector. During the Trojan War , he was protected by Aphrodite, Apollo and Poseidon. He was one of few who were not killed during the Trojan War. He travelled to Italy and settled there. Rome was built by his descendants Remus and Romulus.
Now he has decided to pay back his mother by fighting for her in Mortal Arena.
Helen (Epic Hero)
Helen of Troy, the most beautiful woman in the known world, was the daughter of Zeus and Leda. She was initially abducted by Theseus but the Spartan army saved her. Eventually, she married Menelaus, king of Sparta; they bore 3 sons and 1 daughter. Once prince of Troy, Paris visited Sparta for a wedding. Smitten by her beauty he abducted Helen. It led to the Trojan War that we all know about.
The most beautiful woman in the known world is rightly standing with goddess Aphrodite in Mortal Arena today.

Danae (Common Hero)
Danae, the princess of Argos, was born with a twisted destiny. Born to king Acrisius and Queen Eurydice, she was locked in a tower after a prophecy that her son would kill her father. However, It didn’t stop Zeus from being infatuated with Danae’s beauty and he impregnated her. Danae’s father locked her and her child in a chest and threw it in the sea. She drifted away and reached the island of Seriphos. Her brave son Perseus became a great hero and slayed Medusa to save her honour.
The beauty that infatuated Zeus once will fight all the Olympian gods to win the throne of heaven for Aphrodite.
Icarus (Common Hero)
Icarus was the son of renowned craftsman Daedalus. Icarus’ father created Labyrinth, a huge maze under the court of King Minos of Crete where the Minotaur was captured. To keep the secret of the Labyrinth, the king imprisoned Icarus and his father in a tower.
Famous for his craft, his father Daedalus created two sets of wings for himself and Icarus. Daedalus gave some instructions to Icarus and soon they flew towards freedom. Once out in the open, he forgot his father’s warnings and started flying higher and higher. Soon the wax of his wings started melting. As the wax dissolved, he drowned in the sea.
Being quite vain herself, Aphrodite naturally chose Icarus for herself.
